Day 49 - Snow Canyon

Day 49 -  We spent a day hiking through Snow Canyon this summer, we didn't have to look hard to find pictures to take here. You could aim the camera at just about anything and it was an amazing shot. Although it was about 110 degrees when this was taken, but even with the the heat it was a very fun trip! Enjoy!

DAY 48 - Fall Play

DAY 48 - Kyle was doing some yard work today and I was putting my makeup on when he came in the house and asked me if I could come and help him. Sure, I can! When I went outside he wanted me to wield the leaf blower for him to take some falling leaf pictures! Turn about it fair play, so I went and got my tripod and had him pose with Angel! They are best friends!

Day 47 - Mountain Moonscape

Day 47 - I was standing in my backyard this summer, when the moon came up over the mountains. It was a spectacular moon, so I ran and grabbed my camera and was able to capture this shot! It turned out to be a pretty cool shot I think. Hope you enjoy it!

DAY 46 - Patriotic at Sea

DAY 46 - Kyle and I were on a cruise ship heading to the Western Caribbean. Just as we were leaving Florida we went on deck to check out the scenery as we passed it by. When at sea there are workers that carefully pull in the flags that are flying. I thought this was a really cool shot! If you have never cruised, you should try it! You could get your own picture like this one. Enjoy.

Day 45 - Cedar Breaks

Day 45 - We went to Cedar Breaks earlier  this year. We had to hurry and get  our pictures taken quickly as a storm was brewing. We got quite a few good shots but we couldn't visit the whole park because the storm came in too quickly. Sounds like a good reason to go back again soon. Its a very beautiful place. We had a blast! Enjoy!

DAY 44 - Solo Cattail

DAY 44 - Kyle and I went to the Bear River Bird Refuge to take photos of the birds there. The only birds we saw were ducks! We didn't let that stop us, we found other cool shots. There were a lot of cattails there, I had to zoom in to just get one. I really like this shot.

Day 43 - Bear necessities!

Day 43 - We went to Bear World earlier this year. It is amazing how close you can get to the bears! It is fun to drive right through all of the wildlife. We did this trip on a last minute whim, it was definately a good choice for a last second trip. We had a blast! Enjoy!

Day 42 Out Of Season

DAY 42 - OUT OF SEASON. Even though it is fall, I love all of the spring flowers. As I walk through any store with flowers, I stroll over to them and tell Kyle which ones I love. I love all kinds and colors. They are all beautiful in their own way.

Day 41 - Reaching For The Sky...

Day 41 - I took this picture while we were in Cedar Breaks even with all the spectacular beauty of Cedar Breaks I still am always drawn to the dead tree. I think pictures of dead trees are kind of thought provoking, and can make for a pretty cool picture too! Hope you enjoy!

DAY 40 - Gooseberry Mesa

DAY 40 - We were planning a quick trip to Southern Utah. A friend of ours told us to go to Gooseberry Mesa, that we wouldn't be disappointed! As we start up the mountain, Kyle realized that we were running out of gas. We had to turn around and go into town to fill up, wondering the entire way if it would be worth a trip back. It was! I loved the red clay that we were driving on, it is such a great contrast with the blue sky and white clouds!

DAY 39 - It's A Jungle Out There

DAY 39 - It's A Jungle Out There! Not really! We were taking photos of the autumn colors and saw moss growing on a lot of trees. This moss was on a branch right over my head. I thought it looked pretty awesome with the leaves in the background and the moss on the limb. 

Day 38 - Reflections Of Fall

Day 38 - We went on a drive, taking pictures of the fall foliage last week. This picture of a single leaf lying in a puddle caused by the recent rain caught my eye. I love the way the water is reflecting around the leaf. Fall is always spectacular! Its nice to take time to see all of the beauty fall brings. If you take the time to actually stop and look you can see the beauty in many things you normally would just walk past without notice. I hope you enjoy!

DAY 37 - Our New Portrait!

DAY 37  OUR PORTRAIT - Yesterday I text Kyle while he was at work and told him I wanted to do a self-timed portrait of the two of us. We have done this several times, but I just can't get exactly what I want!  So today was the day. I get all ready, decide what I am going to wear...as we walk outside it begins to rain! All of my plans would have to be postponed.  Kyle says to me, "lets just go up there and see what the leave look like." Smart man! As soon as we get there the rain stops, we jump out of the car and hurry to set up the equipment. We took 8 shots! I love this one. We hurried back into the car for the rain to begin again!  What a great photo. Thanks Babe for taking us up there to check it out!

DAY 36 - Fall In Cache Valley

DAY 36 - This was an overcast Sunday. We really wanted to go shooting, but the forecast was not in our favor.  We decided to take the chance and see if we could out beat the storm. Look at one of the photos we got!  We will post more fall photographs soon.  We hope you enjoy our photo shoots.
