Day - 52 Sondra was commenting on the sunset tonight, so I ran and grabbed the camera and this is what I got! Enjoy

Day 51 - New Little Family

DAY 51 - When I saw Taylor's new tat he was showing off, I decided that I needed to take a portrait of Cambria on her Daddy's belly showing off his two masterpieces! Isn't she beautiful...so is her Mommy! Love this little family, love the pic! Enjoy.

Day 50 - Baby "C"

DAY 50 - Baby "C" is only nine days old. She is beautiful and such a little sweetheart. We put her through a lot! She slept most of the time, but we got some great shots with her eyes open!  This photo shoot was about 90 minutes away from the studio, so we packed it up and took it with us! The best prop... her Daddy! Pics will be displayed in a few days. Isn't she the sweetest?

Day 49 - Snow Canyon

Day 49 -  We spent a day hiking through Snow Canyon this summer, we didn't have to look hard to find pictures to take here. You could aim the camera at just about anything and it was an amazing shot. Although it was about 110 degrees when this was taken, but even with the the heat it was a very fun trip! Enjoy!

DAY 48 - Fall Play

DAY 48 - Kyle was doing some yard work today and I was putting my makeup on when he came in the house and asked me if I could come and help him. Sure, I can! When I went outside he wanted me to wield the leaf blower for him to take some falling leaf pictures! Turn about it fair play, so I went and got my tripod and had him pose with Angel! They are best friends!

Day 47 - Mountain Moonscape

Day 47 - I was standing in my backyard this summer, when the moon came up over the mountains. It was a spectacular moon, so I ran and grabbed my camera and was able to capture this shot! It turned out to be a pretty cool shot I think. Hope you enjoy it!

DAY 46 - Patriotic at Sea

DAY 46 - Kyle and I were on a cruise ship heading to the Western Caribbean. Just as we were leaving Florida we went on deck to check out the scenery as we passed it by. When at sea there are workers that carefully pull in the flags that are flying. I thought this was a really cool shot! If you have never cruised, you should try it! You could get your own picture like this one. Enjoy.

Day 45 - Cedar Breaks

Day 45 - We went to Cedar Breaks earlier  this year. We had to hurry and get  our pictures taken quickly as a storm was brewing. We got quite a few good shots but we couldn't visit the whole park because the storm came in too quickly. Sounds like a good reason to go back again soon. Its a very beautiful place. We had a blast! Enjoy!

DAY 44 - Solo Cattail

DAY 44 - Kyle and I went to the Bear River Bird Refuge to take photos of the birds there. The only birds we saw were ducks! We didn't let that stop us, we found other cool shots. There were a lot of cattails there, I had to zoom in to just get one. I really like this shot.

Day 43 - Bear necessities!

Day 43 - We went to Bear World earlier this year. It is amazing how close you can get to the bears! It is fun to drive right through all of the wildlife. We did this trip on a last minute whim, it was definately a good choice for a last second trip. We had a blast! Enjoy!

Day 42 Out Of Season

DAY 42 - OUT OF SEASON. Even though it is fall, I love all of the spring flowers. As I walk through any store with flowers, I stroll over to them and tell Kyle which ones I love. I love all kinds and colors. They are all beautiful in their own way.

Day 41 - Reaching For The Sky...

Day 41 - I took this picture while we were in Cedar Breaks even with all the spectacular beauty of Cedar Breaks I still am always drawn to the dead tree. I think pictures of dead trees are kind of thought provoking, and can make for a pretty cool picture too! Hope you enjoy!

DAY 40 - Gooseberry Mesa

DAY 40 - We were planning a quick trip to Southern Utah. A friend of ours told us to go to Gooseberry Mesa, that we wouldn't be disappointed! As we start up the mountain, Kyle realized that we were running out of gas. We had to turn around and go into town to fill up, wondering the entire way if it would be worth a trip back. It was! I loved the red clay that we were driving on, it is such a great contrast with the blue sky and white clouds!

DAY 39 - It's A Jungle Out There

DAY 39 - It's A Jungle Out There! Not really! We were taking photos of the autumn colors and saw moss growing on a lot of trees. This moss was on a branch right over my head. I thought it looked pretty awesome with the leaves in the background and the moss on the limb. 

Day 38 - Reflections Of Fall

Day 38 - We went on a drive, taking pictures of the fall foliage last week. This picture of a single leaf lying in a puddle caused by the recent rain caught my eye. I love the way the water is reflecting around the leaf. Fall is always spectacular! Its nice to take time to see all of the beauty fall brings. If you take the time to actually stop and look you can see the beauty in many things you normally would just walk past without notice. I hope you enjoy!

DAY 37 - Our New Portrait!

DAY 37  OUR PORTRAIT - Yesterday I text Kyle while he was at work and told him I wanted to do a self-timed portrait of the two of us. We have done this several times, but I just can't get exactly what I want!  So today was the day. I get all ready, decide what I am going to wear...as we walk outside it begins to rain! All of my plans would have to be postponed.  Kyle says to me, "lets just go up there and see what the leave look like." Smart man! As soon as we get there the rain stops, we jump out of the car and hurry to set up the equipment. We took 8 shots! I love this one. We hurried back into the car for the rain to begin again!  What a great photo. Thanks Babe for taking us up there to check it out!

DAY 36 - Fall In Cache Valley

DAY 36 - This was an overcast Sunday. We really wanted to go shooting, but the forecast was not in our favor.  We decided to take the chance and see if we could out beat the storm. Look at one of the photos we got!  We will post more fall photographs soon.  We hope you enjoy our photo shoots.

DAY 35 - A Day At Home

DAY 35 - I was asked by the corporate office of my work to photograph some local photos of Logan and Brigham City, Utah.  Kyle and I have driven down this street several times and I have told him, "some day I am going to come up here and take some incredible photos", it was perfect for this photo shoot. I hope you will visit Logan, Utah if you are ever in the area, it's beautiful!

DAY 34 Cedar Breaks

DAY 34 - We went to Cedar Breaks last week. This is a picture of us just before a huge storm was about to hit! We had to hurry to get the camera set up before the rain came in. We had a great time! If you ever have the chance you should see it for yourself, it is breathtaking.

DAY 33 - People Watching

DAY 33 - While we were on our cruise, we took a tender boat. It was packed with people. I sat on the boat rocking back and forth watching all of the people. This girl knew someone sitting in back of her, as I watched her, I thought to myself that every movement she made would make a great photo. So I snapped one, ...just one. Wouldn't you agree, this is a great candid! Enjoy.

DAY 32 - Got Cute?

DAY 32 - I have had this hat for several years and have never found the right thing to do with it. So, I bought this turquoise chair and took some fun pictures of baby "R"! She was flirting with Kyle the entire time. She wouldn't look up for me...but when Kyle came in the room she would light up! (I was just a little bit jealous!)

DAY 31 - Happy Trails

DAY 31 - We went on a little hike and picnic last weekend. This trail led to some caves, which we will post as time goes on. The weather was perfect! It is nice to live so close to all this beauty! This was about 10 minutes from our house. We hope you enjoy the picture. Happy Trails!

DAY 30 - Kyle and I went on a quick trip a couple of weekends ago. We couldn't resist going to a petting zoo to see what there was to pet and photograph! The deer was a hit along with some other animals you will see later. We hope you enjoy this photo!

DAY 29 - Lonely Palm

DAY 29 - While we were touring in Grand Cayman I came upon a lonely palm along the shoreline. I thought the tree with the deep blue ocean in the background was very beautiful. The Cayman islands are spectacular place with endless beauty. I hope I captured at least a hint of the beauty of this wonderful island with this picture. I hope you enjoy it!

DAY 29 - Today while Kyle was at work I had the privilege to photograph this beautiful young woman. This was one of her senior portraits. Don't you just love her in red, and the way she is so poised?  I had a great time today. I hope you enjoy this portrait of Lexis as much as I do!

Day 28 - Bon Voyage

DAY 28 - Here we are pulling out of Miami to begin our cruise. I thought this was a cool shot with the amazing clouds. It was fun to watch another cruise ship following us out of the harbor, with the city of Miami in the background. Hope you enjoy the picture.

DAY 27 - I took this photograph while in Grand Cayman. This man was working outside landscaping with a huge knife. All of a sudden he grabbed a coconut and started hitting it and cutting the top off. I was happy that I caught the expression on his face. I hope you enjoy our trip!

DAY 25 - We were privileged to go to Belize! It was the greatest. We will be showing different pictures from our epic adventure! This man was a "local", he was asking all of the tourists if we wanted a cold beer before we saw the ruins. We graciously declined.  Enjoy!

DAY 24 - WE'RE BACK! HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

DAY 24 - We are so happy to be back! We have been having the time of our lives going traveling, and we will be sharing our adventures with you through our blog! This was taken on our way back from Jackson, Wyoming. The main street was lined with flags in front of every business. We had to stop and take this photo. DAY 23 - I walked  into my backyard one morning last year just in time to see this beautiful sunrise. I got my camera just in time to capture this once in a lifetime sunrise before it disappeared. I love all the dramatic contrast in this picture. I hope you do too. Enjoy!

DAY 22 - Kyle had just finished customizing our photo studio, and I couldn't wait to take some test shots. Kyle sits on the floor and here comes Angel, she didn't want to be left out! Day 21 - We went for a drive this last weekend and came across this herd of bison lazily grazing the day away. If you look closely you can see the baby bison munching away as well. didn't think it was wise to get any closer for a better picture! Enjoy!

DAY 20 - This is my mom with her first great grand daughter (my grand daughter!) I love this picture, it was taken super quick at the hospital, but the delight in my mom's face is undeniable! I was so happy to be there with my daughter and her family for this special delivery. Enjoy!

Sondra I spent a little time one day with the birds. I thought this picture was really cute! These birds spent a lot of time with each other, I think it must be true love! They were really fun to watch. Its sure nice to have the warmer weather here now to enjoy bird watching and the great outdoors! Enjoy!

DAY 18 - Meet the new King and Queen

DAY 18 - We always love shooting this schools dance photos.  The theme was "Under the Sea", had so much fun with pirate props.  This handsome couple were named King and Queen. Congratulations! Enjoy.

DAY 17 Rusty Old Find

DAY 17 - What on earth is this? Sondra and I stumbled across this on a hike at the top of a mountain. It is the inside of an old crane, looking up at the bottom of the old seat frame. It looked so out of place sitting alone atop a desolate mountain top. We have a few interesting pictures of this metal monolith that we will have to post as time goes on. Enjoy.

DAY 16 - Little Ballerina

DAY 16 - We had a sleepover with our grandkids! While they were here, we set up the studio and started a photo shoot! We had a great time. Ballerina's get cold while they are in their little tutus, but she was a great model! Enjoy.

DAY 15 - When on a photo shoot Kyle came across this cool old "cowboy" fence with thistles all around it. We think is a great photo, wouldn't you agree?  Enjoy.

DAY 14 - Moovin' Down The Road

DAY 14 -  It was the first day with my brand new camera. Kyle was driving down the road when we saw a heard of cows right ahead of us being hurded by a family. There was a little girl on a horse just out of camera shot. Kyle stopped in the middle of the road so I could jump out and take a quick shot! Enjoy.

DAY 13 - This little red wagon caught Kyle's eye as we were photographing in a formal garden area! We laughed about it as he was taking the photo. This is a fun photo. Enjoy!

DAY 12 - Long Flowing Dress

DAY 12 - I love this traditional portrait! What a gorgeous dress! The day that these bridals were taken, the clouds were dark and ominous. It was the only day to get these portraits done. The location was about 45 minutes out of town. Sure enough, as soon as we got there the heavens opened and it began to pour. Luckily just out of the shot was a little tunnel where we all hankered down until the rain stopped for just a minute so we could take this incredible portrait. Enjoy

DAY 11 - Happy Spring! We were at a bridal faire over the weekend and bought these colorful flowers to brighten up our display. Kyle took some photos of them in their prime. They are such fun, vibrant flowers. Spring is almost here. Enjoy!

DAY 9 - While we were on a "staycation" we went on a little hike. Walked up to the top of a ski tram. Kyle climbed up the latter that is in the middle of the tram to take this picture. I thought about taking a photo of him taking a photo! We had a great time. Enjoy!

This is my grandson! He is so fun to photograph, I love this gummy smile, and his sparkling eyes. Can't get enough of our "Little Dude!" Enjoy.

DAY 7 - Flying High

We went on a hot air balloon ride. It was amazing to see all of the huge balloons being inflated. All of the balloons were different colors, they were so vibrant and beautiful. What a way to see the sunrise. We hope you enjoy this photo. It brings back some really fun memories. Did we mention that Kyle had to jump out of our balloon, and bring us to a safe landing on a mountain side of sage brush? Enjoy.
